Store Policy

Customers
In order to shop at one of our stores, we ask customers to register as a Mt. Eden customer or display a current San Francisco Flower Mart badge in order to make purchases.

To become a registered customer, complete and sign Mt. Eden’s new customer registration form, and submit with a copy of your valid resale or business license. Our team will review your documents. If you meet the customer requirements, we will provide you with a unique customer account. There is no fee to register as a Mt. Eden customer. Customers are responsible for notifying Mt. Eden Floral about changes to account info including: a new or expired resale license, company contact info, and authorized buyers.

 

Purchases and Ordering
Purchases can be made by the individuals listed as authorized buyers on your customer account. (We may ask for identification to verify.) If you need to update your company’s list of authorized buyer, please contact your sales person.

Orders for pick-up or delivery may be placed by phone, fax, or email to any of the Mt. Eden Floral Company locations during regular business hours.* Be sure to include your account number, shop name and phone number. If you email or fax your order, please confirm that we have received your order and verify pricing. Orders must be confirmed by a Mt. Eden sales person. (If you don't have a sales representative yet, call (408) 213-5777 and we will help to get you started!) Most orders can be shipped within 24 hours. All backorders will be cancelled unless otherwise specified by the customer. *Exception: Orders shipped via UPS must be placed through the San Jose store only.

The minimum purchase amount is $15 for fresh and supply product combined. If your order is being shipped or delivered, there are additional minimums:

  • Minimum order shipped via UPS or FedEx is $50.00. Orders less than $50.00 will have a $5.00 handling charge.
  • Minimum order delivered by Mt. Eden truck: $100.00.

 

Pricing
We will make every effort to maintain the prices indicated herein. All prices, however, are subject to change without notice, and we maintain the right to invoice shipments at the most current price. Our sales people will be happy to quote you current prices on specific items upon request. All prices are quoted net.

 

Method of Payment
Cash and credit card (MasterCard and Visa) are accepted from all customers. To set up store trade credit and receive a monthly invoice, or to pay by check, please contact your sales rep. Personal checks are not accepted. A fee will be assessed on all returned checks. Mt. Eden Floral reserves the right to refuse payment by check for customers in poor standing.

All orders to new customers will be shipped COD unless customer has credit approval or advance payment has been made. Credit applications are available by mail, fax, or at any Mt. Eden Floral wholesale store.

Payment of invoice for customers with trade credit is due net 15 days from the end of the month of purchases. A charge of 1.5% will be added on all past due payments. Trade credit will be revoked if payments are not made on time.

 

Freight and Shipping
All prices are FOB the Mt. Eden Floral store where they were shipped from. All orders will be shipped via the "best way" unless otherwise specified by the customer.

  • Mt. Eden Floral Delivery Truck If you are within the Mt. Eden Floral Co. delivery area, your order will arrive on one of our trucks.
  • Ground Shipment Supply orders outside of the Mt. Eden Floral Co. delivery area will be shipped via UPS unless otherwise specified. Fresh flower orders will be shipped in the most appropriate way to ensure product quality. Shipping and handling charges will appear on all invoices.
  • Common Carrier Shipments All glass, oversized, or fragile items will be shipped by common carrier if the delivery address is outside the Mt. Eden Floral Co. delivery area. COD payments are not available for orders shipped via common carrier. Common carrier shipments must be pre-paid by credit card or check.
  • Express Courier Shipments Orders outside the Mt. Eden Floral Co. delivery area that require overnight or express delivery can be shipped via UPS or FedEX. COD payment is not available for orders shipped via express couriers.

 

Returns and Claims
Check your order immediately and thoroughly upon receipt. Shortages, overages, incorrect or damaged merchandise must be reported within 24 hours of receipt for fresh flower orders and within 48 hours of receipt for supply orders. All products must be returned to Mt. Eden to receive credit.

Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization from Mt. Eden Floral Co. Return authorization is issued by the store where the product was purchased. Seasonal and holiday merchandise is not returnable. All returns must be accompanied by a receipt. A 15% restocking charge will be assessed on all floral supply returns unless the merchandise is defective or Mt. Eden made an error filling the order.

Store Credit will be issued for authorized returns. Mt. Eden does not issue cash, check, or credit card refunds. All credits must be used within 6 months.

 

MT. EDEN FLORAL COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADVERTISING WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS BY ANY OTHER PARTY. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPROPER USE BY ANY PARTY OF THE PRODUCTS DEPICTED IN THIS WEBSITE AND CATALOG.
